PAGCOR TO HOST US$1 MILLION GUARANTEED POKER TOURNAMENT IN THE PHILIPPINES

The 2008 PAGCOR Charity Poker Event was held in the Coral Ballroom of the Manila Pavilion Hotel. 
Top local poker players duked it out to be named the champion.

PAGCOR will host one of the biggest local and Asia-wide poker tournaments, aptly called “The First PAGCOR International Poker Tournament”.  Also dubbed as “The Chairman’s Cup”, it boasts a guaranteed prize pool of US$ 1Million.

The Chairman’s cup is set on March 20 – 25, 2010 with eliminations at the Manila Pavilion Hotel Manila, and will culminate at the SMX Convention Centre for the finals as a main event of the 5th Asian Gaming and Entertainment Expo (Asia’s Gem)

The Tournament is expected to lure in top international poker pros as they battle it out with local key players from various licensed poker clubs in the country.  It’s a last man standing face-off as they try to emerge victorious in the first ever Chairman’s Cup.
