Non-Gaming Courses for PAGCOR Employees

Welcome to the glittering world of gaming and entertainment service professionals!

PTC is the forefront training provider of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). Through collaborations with outside training service organizations and our in-house trainers in various PAGCOR branches, we are now building a professional service industry.

We have presently conducting several programs specially designed for people working in the gaming industry.

PAGCOR Executive Development Program (PEDP)

The program is a basic management development program for mid-level leaders to upgrade their managerial competencies both in task and people skills. The topics cover basic management theories and principles but utilizing cases and problems peculiar only to gaming organizations. To blend global best practices and methodologies in leadership development and align the contents of our other training programs, the course will be facilitated by our qualified in-house resource persons in partnership with consultants handling transformational leadership programs in various reputable organizations.

Participants will experience working in a diverse team environment, thus developing cooperation, healthy competition, critical thinking, integrity, creativity and tolerance to other people’s ideas.

First-Level Leaders’ Training Course (FLLTC)

The course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable attitude and skills of personnel occupying supervisory positions. Participants will be exposed to the various principles of management and supervision through mini-lectures and experiential workshops in a non-threatening and stimulating environment. Job-specific competencies will also be addressed in a two-day breakout session. Moreover, enhancement of business communications skills and introduction to work ethics will also form part of the curriculum.

Lastly, participants will experience working in a diverse team environment, thus developing cooperation, healthy competition, critical thinking, integrity, creativity, and tolerance to other people’s ideas.

Customer Service Training Program (CSTP) Levels 1 & 2

The program is a competency development program on customer service. It is one of the component programs of the Asia’s Friendliest Experience Delivery System, in support of PAGCOR’s vision of becoming a globally-competitive gaming firm with our unique customer service capabilities—being Asia’s Friendliest—as a competitive advantage. Participants will be exposed to functional knowledge on all PAGCOR’s product and service offerings. Highlighted also is the importance of practicing customer service through managing tangibles such as posture, grooming, and communication with customers.
