Day 24 - Mother Teresa Spinelli's Treasures
December 18, 2011
Mother Teresa Spinelli's Treasures was set up in June 16, 2001 as a child caring institution for the abandoned, neglected, foundling and surrendered children. It began as an unplanned apostolic work of the Agustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary (ASSJM).
From two children, the number of kids under the care of the Agustinian Sisters increased until they opened a home in MArch 27, 2004 at the ASSJM compound in Tagytay City. The home was named after Maria Teresa Spinelli, founder of the ASSJM Congregation, whose mission is focused on the education and Christian formation of the youth.
