How do I join/register?

PAGCOR Photography Contest 2023 participants may register and submit their entries through the contest website, https://www.pagcor.ph/photocon2023.

Fill out the needed information and submit the necessary documents to complete the registration.
PAGCOR Photography Contest 2023 is open to all Filipino nationals who are at least 18 years old as of February 15, 2023.

PAGCOR employees including their relatives up to the second degree of affinity and consanguinity are disqualified from joining the competition.
“Sa’n Tayo Next?” is the theme for PAGCOR Photography Contest 2023 which will showcase the unadulterated and not so famous places around the Philippines.

The photos should depict beautiful places in the country with the potential to become major tourist hubs. Location must be within the Philippines only.

This is a chance for participants to showcase places in the Philippines which, when developed, can jumpstart the economic growth of the area.
PAGCOR Photography Contest 2023 will start accepting entries on FEBRUARY 15, 2023 and will end on JULY 31, 2023.
The competition has two categories:
1) CONVENTIONAL - This category includes photos taken using traditional or conventional cameras like Single Lens Reflex (SLR) or Digital SLR, compact cameras and the like.
2) MOBILE - This category covers photos taken using mobile devices like smartphones, tablets, drone-mounted cameras, and action cameras.
Participants should register under the regional group where they are residing (Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao).
Also, they will be required to upload a valid ID with address as proof of residency. Entries sent to the wrong group will be automatically disqualified.
Each participant is allowed to submit a MAXIMUM OF TWO (2) ENTRIES ONLY. That means that a participant can submit two entries under one category or he/she can submit one entry each under the conventional and mobile categories.
Yes, you may submit photos taken anywhere in the Philippines regardless of what region you are registered.
The photos should have been taken from August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023.
The image should be in LANDSCAPE (HORIZONTAL ORIENTATION) FORMAT
All entries must be at least 25 inches (5,000 pixels) on the longer side, at 72 ppi resolution, and in JPG format only. The image should be in LANDSCAPE (Horizontal) format.

Once an entry on the conventional category is shortlisted as one of the grand finalists, the photographer is required to submit the file of his/her entry that must contain the following specifications: image size must be at least 55 inches (11,000 pixels) on the longer side (image should be in landscape), at least 72 ppi in resolution, in JPG (.JPG) format within 48 hours after the end of the regional screening or upon official advice on qualification for finals.
No, you cannot change entries once submitted.
No, PAGCOR shall have the exclusive use of the photo entries of the 24 Grand Winners (i.e. 12 from Conventional and 12 from Mobile categories) in perpetuity for the agency’s various collaterals and communication materials including but not limited to the PAGCOR 2024 calendar. This means that the Grand Winner/Photo Owner of the winning entry cannot resell or make use of his/her photo for other purposes except for his/her official portfolio. The photos of the 16 consolation prizes (8 from Conventional and 8 from Mobile) shall be exclusively used by PAGCOR from August 2023 up to December 31, 2025.

The collected Personal Data shall be utilized solely for the following purposes: documentation and processing of your entry/ies in the contest; assess your eligibility to join the contest; notify you of the result of the contest; announcing to the general public updates on the selection of entries; and inclusion to other PR and communication materials of PAGCOR.

Protection Measures

Only authorized PAGCOR personnel has access to these Personal Data. They will be stored and retained subject to the PAGCOR’s policies and procedures on Records Management.

Access and Correction
