Since the 1980s, the local live music performance scene has not really generated the kind of public interest that it had before. With the possible exception of a few topbilled concerts and the TV-based reality shows which also double as talent competitions, the local entertainment scene has barely gone beyond music revival concepts and mall promotional shows.
While many new singing artists are regularly discovered, very few are trained and exposed to the rudiments of performance craftsmanship that projects genuine talent, virtuosity, versatility and professional discipline.

The project calls for a nationwide search for new and emerging batch of Total Original Pinoy Music Performer though a multi-tiered workshop, professional exposure and competition scheme that provides for quality training, holistic development and fair opportunity for professional practice.
