Quintana was acclaimed as the “Best Concert Stage Director” for Pili-Pinas: A PAGCOR Musical while PVS received the “Best Choral Group” award.

According to Quintana, he was honored at the same time surprised to receive such distinction. “The honor of being nominated was already overwhelming. But having won the award was truly gratifying considering the hard work that I poured into the project. Life is indeed full of surprises,” he shared.

Meanwhile, PVS Choir Coordinator Mary Ann Bonifacio said that the group was grateful for earning such prestigious award. “It is the choir’s pride and joy to have received such honor. That’s why we’re giving back the glory to God who gave us our talents. We also thank the PAGCOR management for supporting us for two decades. Thank you for believing that through our music, we can be instrumental in promoting PAGCOR and its socio-civic endeavors,” Bonifacio cited.

The annual Aliw Awards honors entertainers through a system of awards in various categories. It also assists in the development of talented but less fortunate up-and-coming entertainers
