Casualties in Manila Pavilion fire rise to six

The number of employees from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) who perished during the fire at Manila Pavilion Casino on March 18, 2018, rose to six.

Jennilyn Figueroa, 28, expired on the early morning of March 21 after being in a critical state for three days. Figueroa was an Internal Security Staff at Casino Filipino Pavilion. She has been in service for six years.

The five others who also died in the tragic incident were:

1. Treasury Officer Edilberto Evangelista
2. Assistant Treasury Officer Marilyn Omadto
3. Security Guard Billy Rey De Castro
4. CCTV Operator John Mark Sabido
5. Jr. CCTV Operator Jocris Banang

PAGCOR is deeply saddened by the unfortunate fate of its six employees. It will continue to extend support to the bereaved families.
