A merry mix of fun, music and yuletide cheer filled every nook of Casino Filipino’s 12 branches nationwide, as they recently welcomed the Christmas season in November with the simultaneous launch of “Maagang Pasko sa Casino Filipino”.
The different Casino Filipino branches launched last November 5 the month-long celebration of the early Holiday festivities.
Each CF branch had its own version of yuletide celebration, highlighting the Pinoy Christmas theme. Traditional Christmas carols filled the air, street parties were held, cultural dances and shows were showcased, parlor games were played and native delicacies, like bibingka wereserved. Some branches like CF Pavilion also gave away early Christmas gifts through an outreach activity for the less privileged residents of Manila.
The “Maagang Pasko sa Casino Filipino” celebration also featured some of the country’s finest artists, performing simultaneously in special musical concerts at the casinos like Prince of Pop Erik Santos (Airport Casino Filipino Paranaque), Rockoustic Princess Yeng Constantinto (CF Heritage), music heartthrob Dingdong Avanzado (CF Mimosa), sentimental balladeer Raymond Lauchengco (CF Angeles), jazz artist Richard Merck (CF Olongapo) and the Philippines’ premier vocal group The CompanY (Alegria Lounge of CF Pavilion).
PAGCOR’s Entertainment Department Assistant Vice President Bong Quintana was elated at the successful launch of Casino Filipino’s early Christmas treat. “Tonight, we see history in the making. This is the first time that PAGCOR launched a simultaneous Christmas festivity with a wide variety of entertainment offerings. The support for the nationwide launch is simply overwhelming,” Quintana said.
The different branches of PAGCOR enjoyed an increase in their customer attendance during the November 5 event. “This only proves that we are doing well in our efforts to promote Casino Filipino as premier entertainment centers where guests can experience something unique all year round, especially during merry occasions like Christmas,” he said.
Casino Filipino’s “Maagang Pasko” celebration was just the first salvo of PAGCOR’s colorful Christmas offerings. More surprises are lined up in November and December.
