HEALTHCARE frontliners attending to COVID-19 patients in Pampanga got a much-deserved reward for their noble task after the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) donated food items to the personnel and staff of Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital (JBLMRH) and the San Fernando Health Office in San Fernando City on April 8, 2021.

PAGCOR delivered to the beneficiaries P400,000 worth of easy to prepare food and snacks. JBLMGH received 600 food packs, while the San Fernando Health Office was given 275 food packs.

JBLMRH Chief Monserrat Chichioco said the food donation from PAGCOR will help boost the morale of their employees as it makes them feel that their effort in fighting the deadly disease is being appreciated.

“Nagpapasalamat kami sa PAGCOR for giving our emloyees these donations to help uplift their spirits. Nakakawala ng pagod kasi maraming nagpapahalaga sa aming pagsisikap na labanan ang COVID-19,” she expressed.

PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Andrea Domingo, meanwhile, said that the state-run gaming firm is cognizant of the valuable efforts being exerted by the medical frontliners in coping with the global health crisis.

“We truly appreciate their hard work and sacrifices. We continually pray for their and their families’ good health and safety,” she noted.
