Heavy rains didn't stop PAGCOR and Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) from bringing the “Sagip Kababayan” relief operations to Vigan, Ilocos Sur on August 26, 2023.

With the help of volunteers from Swissotel Clark and Junior Chambers International (JCI), PAGCOR and HFI distributed 500 food boxes and hygiene kits to families of Barangay Bongtolan, Vigan who were affected by typhoon Egay and the current thunder showers.

Formerly known as WIDUS Foundation, HFI is the charitable arm of Hann Group, one of PAGCOR’s licensees.

Casino licensees are mandated to put up Cultural Heritage Foundations to support projects related to education, health, cultural development, calamity response and others.

As of August 27, 2023, PAGCOR and HFI have distributed 1,500 relief packs to different areas in Luzon which were affected by typhoon Egay.
