The winning entries of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation’s (PAGCOR) 2025 Photography Contest are now on display at the MET Live Mall in Pasay City, offering a closer look at compelling visual narratives on nation-building.
The exhibit, which runs until October 10 at the mall’s Atrium, features the 48 grand finalists that brought to life this year’s theme, “Infrastructure for Economic Development.”
Each image in the exhibit tells a story of how infrastructure serves as a lifeline of progress – connecting families, fueling industries, and opening opportunities for communities.
Nearly 4,000 entries poured in from across the country, a testament to the Filipino’s passion for photography and storytelling. From this, PAGCOR chose eight grand winners each in the Conventional, Mobile, and Drone categories.
“This contest goes beyond artistry and talent; it captures how development reaches grassroots communities,” said PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco. “Through these images, we see how infrastructure transforms lives and empowers communities.”
The MET Live exhibit is the first in a series of mall tours that will bring the winning photos to wider audiences for free in the coming months.
“Aside from the mall exhibit, the winning entries will also be featured in PAGCOR’s 2026 desk and wall calendars, turning everyday planners into windows of inspiration and national pride,” Mr. Tengco added.
