The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is once again opening its doors to exceptional talents and performers who have what it takes to be part of PAGCOR’s pool of in-house artists.

PAGCOR launches nationwide search for Casino Filipino Got Talent 2016

The new talent search, dubbed as the Casino Filipino Got Talent (CFGT) 2016, aims to discover and promote talented Filipino performers by featuring them in the entertainment shows of various Casino Filipino (CF) branches.

The competition is open to all amateur and professional Filipinos or with dual citizenship who are 18 years old and above. Participants may be singers (solo/duo/trio/acoustic), band (full show band) or dancers (folk, pop, classical, contemporary, ballroom with four or more members).

PAGCOR OIC / Assistant Vice President for Entertainment Jimmy Bondoc said CFGT 2016 is similar to those being staged by major TV networks where participants perform live in front of the judges.

“In this competition, we will scout for talents who can be part of our PAGCOR pool of artists where we source our nightly entertainers for casino branches and satellites. By having this talent search, we assure that all our featured performers are well-selected and well-liked by the audience,” he said.

Bondoc added that there are many raw talents in the country who are just waiting to be discovered. “With this talent search, we can provide them with venues where they can shine at the same time provide them with job opportunities since PAGCOR will be giving away over P8 million worth of performance contracts to the winning performers.”

Interested parties must submit their application and other required documents to the participating CF branch where they intend to perform. Deadline of application submission will be on October 14 (CF Angeles); October 16 (CF Pavilion); October 21 (CF Cebu); October 23 (CF Bacolod); November 4 (CF Davao); November 6 (CF Tagaytay); and November 11 (CF Laoag).

All applications must include the application form, documentary evidence or proof of citizenship and age (such as passport or NSO-authenticated birth certificate), and official receipt of performer/s or booking agent/s duly registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

Application forms, mechanics, cash prizes, and other pertinent information may be downloaded from the PAGCOR website www.pagcor.ph.
