The cities of Bacolod and Bago have been placed under a state of calamity by their respective city councils due to widespread flooding caused by Typhoon ‘Goring’.

To ease the burden of affected residents, PAGCOR immediately delivered 3,000 relief packs to the flood victims in each of the two cities through the help of the Office of Civil Defense. The relief bags contained hygiene kits, blankets, mosquito nets, bath towels and slippers.

Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez and Bago City Mayor Nicholas Yulo personally received the relief goods from Casino Filipino Bacolod Branch Manager Nestor Legaspina and PAGCOR Community Relations and Services Department Sr. Community Development Officer Ferdinand Marcos Amador.
