Naniniwala po kami na ang donasyong ito ay makatutulong sa lahat ng aming mga pasyente as well as to our healthcare workers…,” said RMC Administrative Officer V Analou Ador who was very happy to receive the second batch of PPEs from RWM. “Pangalawang beses napo na nakatanggap kami. Actually, mula po sa aming Director, naniniwala po sya na ang mga donasyong ito ay magla-last until the end of the year."
Meanwhile, RWM Chief Operating Officer Stephen James Reilly, who spearheaded the activity, expressed gratitude for another opportunity to be of service. “It’s always a pleasure to work with PAGCOR and our partners and to do these relief efforts which we have been doing over the past weeks and months. And we hope we could do more in the future,” he said.
Last April, RWPCHFI initially donated 16,000 PPEs, medical gloves, goggles, shoe covers, as well as 40,000 N95 face masks to several hospitals which were among the first to treat COVID-19 patients. It also gave 40,000 face masks and 400 infrared thermometers to the local government units of Pasay and Parañaque and the NCR Police Office. Apart from medical items, RWPCHFI also allotted 30,000 grocery packs to underprivileged barangays in Pasay and other neighboring communities.
Just recently, RWPCHFI also worked closely with Suncity Group’s Philippine subsidiary – SunTrust Home Developers Inc. (SunTrust) and PAGCOR to augment the COVID-19 efforts in the country. The Suncity Group donated P50 million worth of PPEs for 40 public hospitals in Luzon.
