Members and the coaching staff of the Philippine National Men’s Football Team AZKALS today paid a courtesy call to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to personally thank the state gaming firm for its support during the team’s qualifying match against Mongolia for the 2011 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup.

The visit came on the heels of Team AZKALS’s win versus the Mongolians in an intense match held at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City last Wednesday.

PAGCOR/Casino Filipino sponsored the squad’s hotel accommodations during their entire stay in Bacolod.  The agency also hosted a special luncheon for Team AZKALS at the Tertulia Café of Casino Filipino Hotel Bacolod last February 5, 2011, after which a meet and greet opportunity was given by the team to their Negrense fans.
