OPM @ PAGCOR - A Nationwide Search For The Total OPM Performer.

THE PROJECT

OPM@PAGCOR , a tie-up between the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, is a nationwide search for new and emerging batch of “Total Original Pinoy Music Performers” through a multitiered workshop, professional exposure and competition scheme that provides for quality training, holistic development and fair opportunity for professional practice.

The project is also PAGCOR’s response to the directive given by no less than President Benigno S. Aquino III for the state-gaming agency to provide support to the OPM in line with the Aquino administration’s thrust to champion and promote Filipino talents.

WHAT THE PROJECT INTENDS TO ACHIEVE

		Provide opportunities for development and continuing exposure of very talented Filipino singing artists who deserve to be given full public mileage.
		Offer proper music training and cultivate the discipline of professional performing arts among new and emerging music talents.
		Give emerging Filipino talents professional and livelihood opportunities.
