How do I join/register?

Participants may register and submit their entries through the contest website, https://www.pagcor.ph/photocon2025.
Fill out the needed information and submit the necessary documents to complete the registration.
This contest is open to all Filipino nationals who are at least 16 years old as of Januray 1, 2025.
PAGCOR employees including their relatives up to the second degree of affinity and consanguinity are disqualified from joining the competition.
“Infrastructure for Economic Development” is the theme for this year's photography contest.

Robust spending on major infrastructure projects like highways, roads, bridges, air and seaports, water supply, flood control, irrigation, power plants, green energy infrastructure and internet connectivity, among others, is key to Philippine economic growth.

PAGCOR Photography Contest 2025 will start accepting entries on FEBRUARY 1, 2025 and will end on JULY 31, 2025.
The competition has three (3) categories:

1) CONVENTIONAL - This category covers photos taken using all types of digital cameras like Single Lens Reflex (SLR), compact, point and shoot, bridge, mirrorless and rugged.
2) MOBILE - This category covers photos taken using mobile devices with camera features like smartphones and tablets, action cameras, 360 cameras and the like.
3) DRONE - This category covers aerial photos taken using drone cameras.
Among the four regions in the contest classification - Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao – the participant should register under the regional group where they he/she resides.
A valid government identification card with address must be uploaded as proof of residency.
Photo entries submitted by a participant registered under the wrong region will be automatically disqualified.
Each participant is allowed to submit a MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) ENTRIES ONLY. He/She has the option to submit three photos either under Conventional, Mobile or Drone category or submit one photo for each category.
Yes, you may submit photos taken anywhere in the Philippines regardless of what region you are registered.
The photos should have been taken from September 17, 2024 to July 31, 2025.
The photo entry should be in LANDSCAPE (HORIZONTAL ORIENTATION) FORMAT.
For initial screening under the conventional category, submit entries with the image size of at least 3872 pixels on the longer side, with at least 72 ppi in resolution, in JPG format.
No, you cannot change entries once submitted.
No, PAGCOR shall have the exclusive use of the photo entries of the 24 Grand Winners (i.e. 8 from Conventional, 8 from Mobile categories and 8 from Drone categories) in perpetuity for the agency’s various collaterals and communication materials including but not limited to the PAGCOR 2026 calendar.

This means that the Grand Winner/Photo Owner of the winning entry cannot resell or make use of his/her photo for other purposes except for his/her official portfolio.

The photos of the 24 consolation prizes (8 from Conventional, 8 from Mobile and 8 from Drone) shall be exclusively used by PAGCOR from August 2023 up to December 31, 2025.

Use

The Personal Data collected shall be utilized solely for the following purposes: documentation and processing of your entry/ies in the contest; assessment of eligibility to join the contest; notification if chosen as finalist; announcement to the general public if qualified as finalist and grand winner; and inclusion in other press releases and communication materials of PAGCOR.

Protection Measures

Only authorized PAGCOR personnel have access to these Personal Data. The information will be stored and retained in the PAGCOR’s database, subject to the company’s policies and procedures on Records Management.

Access and Correction

The participant has the right to ask for a copy of your Personal Data in PAGCOR’s records for validation or correction. To do so, please send a formal message through email - info@pagcor.ph.
